As a thank you to our members and everything you do to support TCHA, we will be hosting a members- only ice cream social! Escape the heat of summer and join us for a sundae bar, historic games and a performance from barbershop chorus Tippecanotes. In addition, have a chance to chat with TCHA staff, members of the Board of Governors and of course, other members.

A Taste of the Past: Indiana Summer with renowned Chef Lauren Reed

Refreshing, delicious foods that bring back memories of warm summer days in Indiana’s farm country, some you may even find in your own garden!

Menu:

  • Sweet corn soup with bacon, pesto crouton
  • Cucumber & tomato salad with fresh herbs, lemon, goat cheese and dijon vinaigret
  • Beef filet crostini two ways: Chimichurri, blue cheese butter
  • Smoked pulled pork with white cheddar mac-n-cheese, raspberry BBQ, fried onions, cornbread crumble
  • Local honey pie with chocolate bee

A Taste of the Past: A Meal from Eras Past with renowned Chef Lauren Reed

Featuring flavors from the last 100 years, with a medley of iconic foods highlighting decades of our past with flavorful modern twists.

Menu:

  • Classic Caesar salad with homemade Caesar dressing, toasted parmesan, basil crouton
  • Vichyssoise (Leek and Potato soup with chives, served chilled!)
  • Tomato tea sandwich, featuring local sourdough, Heirloom tomatoes, cream cheese, red onions, and summer herb sauce
  • Beef Bourguignon featuring local beef with red wine gravy, garlic smashed potatoes, roasted maple summer squash
  • Carrot cake cupcake with cream cheese frosting, candied walnuts, candied carrot
