Flint Knapping Workshop, Presented by Ed Mosher, Master Flint Knapper
TCHA is excited to partner with master flint knapper Ed Mosher for a hands-on flint knapping workshop at the Tippecanoe Battlefield. Flint knapping is the ancient art of shaping stone by chipping and flaking it to create tools such as knife blades and arrowheads. Participants will learn flint knapping techniques using provided materials and will take home their own handcrafted stone points. This workshop is open to all skill levels.
Workshop is $75.00 per person, all tools and materials are provided.
Participants are encouraged to bring their own safety glasses and gloves, but TCHA will also provide them for attendees. Advance registration is required so materials can be prepared.
TCHA members receive a 10% discount on registration.
